McLennan Softball No. 11 in latest poll

McLennan Softball fell two spots to No. 11 in this week's NJCAA Division I Softball Rankings. McLennan has an overall record of 30-10 and is 16-4 in conference play.

The top five teams remained the same this week: Florida SouthWestern (41-3), No. 1; Grayson (Texas), with a 32-4 record, No. 2; Northwest Florida State (43-5), No. 3. Odessa (Texas), with a record of 36-4, No. 4; and Walters State (Tennessee), with a 37-1 record, No. 5.

Other Texas schools ranked: Galveston (28-6), down three spots to No. 13; and Weatherford (30-7), up three spots to No. 14. Temple is receiving votes.

McLennan, Grayson, Weatherford and Temple all compete in the NTJCAC. McLennan travels to Cisco Wednesday for a 1 p.m. doubleheader.
