Highlanders' Reyes named Pitcher of the Week

McLennan Softball's Katia Reyes is the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference's Pitcher of the Week. The sophomore from Weslaco made two starts in the circle last week for the Highlanders, allowing just two earned runs and two walks while striking out nine batters in 12 innings of work. She led the team to a 7-1 win over Tyler and a 9-1 win over Angelina.
