McLennan Softball holding at #3 in NJCAA Rankings

The Highlander Softball squad, with an overall record of 28-3 and 12-0 in conference play, remained #3 in this week's NJCAA Division I Rankings.
 
The top six teams all held their ground this week: Florida Southwestern, #1, 27-1; Northwest Florida State, #2, 38-2; McLennan, #3, 28-3; Indian River State (Florida), #4 20-3; Grayson (Texas), #5, 29-1; and Miami Dade (Florida), #6, 21-3.
 
Other Texas teams ranked include: Trinity Valley, up three to #7, 30-4; Odessa, down one to at #9, 17-4; Temple, up one to #12, 24-9; Paris, up one spot to #14, 31-5; Weatherford, down three to #19, 20-6; and Galveston, up one to #22, 16-8. Midland is receiving votes.
 
McLennan continues conference play Wednesday, traveling to Grayson for a 1 p.m. doubleheader.
