McLennan Softball still #1 in NJCAA poll

The McLennan Softball squad stayed at  #1 in the NJCAA Division I Softball Rankings for the third consecutive week with an overall record of 48-5 and are 30-2 in conference play.
 
Florida Southwestern remained at #2 with a 47-5 record. Northwest Florida State moved up one spot to #3 at 54-2, and Indian River State (Florida) dropped one spot to #3 with a 41-8 record. Grayson (Texas) stayed at #5 with a 48-6 record.
 
Other Texas teams ranked include: Odessa, up one to #7, 39-4; Trinity Valley, down three to #10, 48-10; Temple, up one #11, 39-14; Paris, up two to #13, 47-9; Weatherford, staying at #20, 33-13; and Tyler, down one to #22, 35-15. Galveston is receiving votes.
 
#1 McLennan is facing #22 Tyler this afternoon in non-conference play in Tyler.
