Highlander Softball up to No. 7

Highlander Softball moved up one spot to No. 7 with a 20-6 record.
 
Grayson (Texas), a conference opponent of the Highlanders, remains at No. 1 with a 24-2 record, followed by Northeast Alabama (23-1) moving up two spots to No. 2. Northwest Florida State (31-2) slipped one spot to No. 3 and Florida Southwestern State (24-4) slipped one spot to No. 4. Trinity Valley (Texas) remained at No. 5 with a 24-2 record.
 
Other Texas teams ranked: Temple, up two spots to No. 8, 24-4; Galveston, down two spots to No. 13, 22-4; Blinn, down two spots to No. 15, 12-4; Paris, down two spots to No. 16, 26-6; and Odessa, remaining at No. 18, 20-7. Weatherford continues receiving votes.
