Four Highlanders earn NFCA All-American honors
Lowry, a freshman catcher from Franklin, Texas, recorded a .507 average with 16 doubles, six triples, three home runs and 38 RBI in 45 games. She was also First-Team All-Conference, All-Region V and NFCA First-Team All-Region selection.
Allen, an outfielder from Cypress, Texas, played in 54 games, recording a .467 batting average with 21 RBI and 40 stolen bases. She was a First-Team All-Conference, All-Region V and NFCA First-Team All-Region selection.
Garrett, a freshman right-hander from Booneville, Mississippi, made 26 appearances in the circle, notching a 17-7 record with 181 strikeouts and a 2.25 ERA in 143 innings pitched. She was selected as the NTJCAC Pitcher of the Year, First-Team All-Conference, All-Region V and NFCA First-Team All-Region selection.
Rogers, a freshman designated player from Carrollton, Texas, appeared in 51 games, recording a .463 average with 22 doubles, eight home runs and 48 RBI. She was a First-Team All-Conference, All-Region V and NFCA First-Team All-Region selection.
