Garrett & Lowry garner NJCAA All-American honors

McLennan Softball's Olivia Garrett and Traci Lowry were Second-Team All-American Pitcher and Third-Team All-American Catcher, respectively.

Garrett, a freshman right-hander from Booneville, Mississippi, made 26 appearances in the circle, notching a 17-7 record with 181 strikeouts and a 2.25 ERA in 143 innings pitched. She was selected as the NTJCAC Pitcher of the Year, First-Team All-Conference, All-Region V, NFCA First-Team All-Region and NFCA Second-Team All-American selection.

Lowry, a freshman catcher from Franklin, Texas, recorded a .507 average with 16 doubles, six triples, three home runs and 38 RBI in 45 games. She was also First-Team All-Conference, All-Region V, NFCA First-Team All-Region and NFCA First-Team All-American selection.
