Davis signs with New Mexico State

McLennan Community College basketball player Shanice Davis signed a National Letter of Intent last week to play for New Mexico State University next year.
 
Davis, a sophomore point guard from Killeen, averaged 13.9 points, 6.9 assists and rebounds per game while appearing in all 32 of the Highlassies' games. She was a first-team all-conference and a Women's Basketball Association Junior/Community College Coaches' All-American honorable mention selection.
