The McLennan Highlassies went on the road for the Temple Classic this evening and will return to Waco with a 75-point win over the Rangers of San Antonio College.
It was all McLennan from the start as the Highlassies pushed the game to a 62-25 lead at the end of the first half. McLennan outscored the Ranger 28-9 in the third and 26-7 in the fourth on the way to the blowout victory.
All 14 of the Highlassies saw playing time and found their way into the scorebook. KeeKee Nowlin and Gabby Cleveland led the way with 16 points each for the Highlassies. Harmony Pettis and Elizabeth Critton added 10 each.
McLennan will face Coastal Bend at noon tomorrow on the final day of the Temple Classic.
