Highlassies jump to No. 12 in NJCAA rankings

The McLennan Highlassies, with an overall record of 8-1, jumped four spots to No. 12 in this week's NJCAA Division I Basketball Rankings.

Trinity Valley and Blinn continue to hold the top two spots, followed by Gulf Coast State, up two spots to No. 3, Eastern Florida, up four spots to No. 4, and Southern Idaho, up two spots to No. 5

New Mexico, a regional opponent of the Highlassies, moved up two spots into the top-10 at No. 9 this week. Conference foe Collin also moved up four spots this week to No. 11. Clarendon, another regional opponent of McLennan, moved up one spot to No. 21, while Grayson, a conference opponent, remained at No. 25.

McLennan faces off against No. 2 Blinn tonight at 5:30 p.m. in Brenham before hosting Fort Hood Tuesday at 7 p.m. at The Highlands.
