Nephew named Player of the Week

McLennan Basketball guard Mersadez Nephew is the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference's Player of the Week for Feb. 18-24. The sophomore from Willis, Texas, scored 49 points in two games last week, including 31 points against Temple, to lead McLennan to wins over #2 Collin and the #17 Lady Leopards. She also pulled down 11 rebounds, and had five assists and three steals during the week.
