McLennan women slip to No. 8; men receive votes

The McLennan women's basketball squad slipped two spots to No. 6 in this week's NJCAA Division I poll.

Dodge City (Kansas), Chipola (Florida), Three Rivers (Missouri) and Gulf Coast State (Florida) all moved up one spot to No. 1-4. Northwest Florida State fell to No. 5.

Other Texas teams ranked include: South Plains, up one spot to No. 11; Grayson, holding steady at No. 15; Collin, holding steady at No. 17; Clarendon, holding steady at No. 21; and Tyler, holding steady at No. 23. New Mexico, a Region V opponent, dropped one spot to No. 12.
