The eighth-ranked McLennan women's basketball squad grounded the South Arkansas Tech Rockets 64-40 tonight on the campus of LSU-Eunice in Eunice, Louisiana.
It was all McLennan from the opening tip as the squad pushed to a 14-2 lead at the end of the first and made it a 30-15 lead at intermission. Southern Arkansas found some rhythm in the third quarter, scoring 30 points but they couldn't stop McLennan that scored 21 in the period. McLennan then held on for the 24-point win.
