McLennan women holding at No. 8

The McLennan women's basketball squad held on to No. 8 in this week's NJCAA Division I poll.

The top eight places remained the same: Dodge City (Kansas), No.1; Chipola (Florida), No. 2; Three Rivers (Missouri), No. 3; Gulf Coast State (Florida), No. 4; Northwest Florida State, No. 5; Eastern Arizona, No.6; Walters State (Tennessee), No. 7; and McLennan, No. 8.

Other Texas teams ranked include: South Plains, up two spots to No. 9; Grayson, holding steady at No. 15; Tyler, up five to No. 18; Collin, down two to No. 19; and Trinity Valley, entering the poll at No. 21. Clarendon and Temple are receiving votes. New Mexico, a Region V opponent, also moved up two spots to No. 10.
