McLennan women slip to No. 9 in NJCAA poll

The McLennan women's basketball squad slipped one spot to No. 9 in this week's NJCAA Division I poll.

The top two teams remained the same, Dodge City (Kansas) at No.1 and Chipola (Florida) at No. 2. Northwest Florida State jumped two spots to No. 3, and Gulf Coast State (Florida) remained at No. 4, followed by Eastern Arizona moving up one spot to No. 5.

Other Texas teams ranked include: South Plains, up two spots to No. 7; Grayson, holding steady at No. 15; Trinity Valley, up three spots to No. 18; Collin, down one spot to No. 20; and Tyler, down four spots to No. 22. Clarendon, Temple and Kilgore are all receiving votes. New Mexico, a Region V opponent, remains at No. 10.
