Women remain No. 7 in NJCAA pll

The McLennan women's squad remained No. 7 in the NJCAA rankings this week with a record of 14-1.

South Plains (Texas), 14-1, Chipola (Florida), 16-1, and Eastern Arizona, 14-1, all moved up two spots to No. 1- No. 3, respectively. Dodge City (Kansas), the previous No. 1, dropped to No. 4 with a 14-1 record, and Northwest Florida State dropped from No. 2 to No. 5 with a 14-2 record.

Other Texas teams ranked include: Trinity Valley (14-2), staying at No. 16; Collin (12-3), up two spots, No. 17; Grayson (11-2), staying at No. 24; and Clarendon (17-1), remaining at No. 25. Tyler is receiving votes. New Mexico (14-1), a Region V opponent, moved up one spot to No. 8.

McLennan continues conference play Saturday, hosting Ranger. Women's action begins at 2 p.m., followed by the men at 4 p.m.
