McLennan women move up to No. 6 in NJCAA rankings

The McLennan women's basketball team (15-1) moved up one stop to No. 6 in the latest NJCAA rankings released today.

Chipola (Florida), 17-1; Eastern Arizona (16-1), Dodge City (Kansas), 16-1; and Northwest Florida State (15-2) all moved up one spot to No. 1-4. South Plains (Texas), the previous No. 1, fell to No. 5 with a 15-2 record.

Other Texas teams ranked include: Trinity Valley (15-2), staying at No. 16; Clarendon (18-1), up five spots to No. 20; Collin (12-4), down five spots, No. 22; Grayson (13-2), staying at No. 24; and Tyler is receiving votes. New Mexico (15-3) a Region V opponent, dropped five spots to No. 13.
