Women's Basketball up to No. 13

he McLennan women's basketball squad (19-4) jumped four spots to No. 13 in this week's NJCAA rankings.

The top three teams remain the same: Eastern Arizona, 24-1, No. 1; Butler (Kansas), 24-1, No. 2, and Northwest Florida State, 21-3, No. 3. Shelton State (Alabama), 23-2, moved up one spot to No. 4, and Chipola (Florida), 22-3, slipped one spot to No. 5.

Other Texas teams ranked include: South Plains, up one to No. 10, 19-4; Clarendon, up four to No. 11, 25-1; Trinity Valley, down three to No. 12, 21-3; Collin, remaining at No. 20, 20-4; Grayson, up one to No. 21, 19-3; and Howard, entering the poll at No. 23, 19-6. New Mexico (19-5), a Region V opponent, slipped seven spots to No. 15.
