McLennan women No. 17 in NJCAA rankings

The McLennan women's baketball squad (20-5) is No. 17 in this week's NJCAA poll.

The top four teams remain the same: Eastern Arizona, 26-1, No. 1; Butler (Kansas), 26-1, No. 2, Northwest Florida State, 22-3, No. 3; and Shelton State (Alabama), 24-2. Walters State (Tennessee) is No. 5, 22-2.

Other Texas teams ranked include: Trinity Valley, No. 10, 23-3; Clarendon, No.11, 25-1; South Plains, No. 14, 19-5; Grayson, No.20, 21-3; Collin, No. 22, 20-5; and Howard, No. 23, 20-6. New Mexico (20-5), a Region V opponent, is No. 12.
