Women's Baskeball No. 17 in final poll

McLennan women's basketball stayed at No. 17 in the final poll of the season with a 22-5 record. The top three spots remained the same: Eastern Arizona, No. 1, 28-1; Butler (Kansas), No. 2, 28-1; and Northwest Florida State, No. 3, 24-3. Walters State (Tennessee) moved up one spot to No. 4 with a 24-2 record; and Shelton State (Alabama) fell one spot to No. 5 with a 24-2 record.
 
Other Texas teams ranked: Trinity Valley, up three spots to No. 7, 25-3; Clarendon, up three spots to No. 8, 27-1; South Plains, remaining at No. 14, 20-5; Grayson, up one to No. 19, 23-3; and Collin, down one to No. 23, 21-6. New Mexico, a regional opponent, stayed at No. 12 with a 22-5 record.
