Highlassie golf remains in third at national tournament
The McLennan Highlassies are holding on to third place with 318-322 – 640 after the second round of the NJCAA National Championships at the par-72, 6,106-yard LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fla.
Daytona State remains in first place with 290-298 – 588, followed by Seminole State (Fla.) in second with 302-306 – 608.
Aries Ramirez and Anya Anders both have 78-78 – 156 to lead the Highlassies and are tied for ninth place.
Other McLennan scores: Fabiana Salazar, tied for 18th, 81-80 – 161; Kirby Sullivan, tied for 29th, 81-86 – 167; and Allison Flores, tied for 37th, 83-87 – 170.
