Brown earns conference honor

McLennan golfer Caitlin Brown has been named the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Week for Sept. 7-13.

Brown, a sophomore from New Braunfels, recorded rounds of 76, 73 and 77 for a total of 226 to finish fourth at the Texas Intercollegiate, hosted by Texas Wesleyan University. She recorded the lowest score among junior college players in the field and earned all-tournament honors.
