McLennan women's golf ranked third by Golfstat

The McLennan Community College women's golf team is ranked first in the region and third nationally in the latest Golfstatranks released today.

Nationally, Daytona State (Florida) is first, followed by Seminole State (Florida) in second. Redlands (Oklahoma) and Rend Lake (Illinois) round out the top five.

Individually, sophomore Caitlin Brown is ranked eighth nationally. Freshmen Tyler Morrison (22nd), Makenna Davidson (25th), Alejandra Rodriguez (26th) and Joely Henderson (29th) are all ranked in the top 30.

The Highlassies are competing in the Bob Hurley ORU Shootout today and tomorrow in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
