McLennan's Henderson earns Player of the Week honor

McLennan golfer Joely Henderson has been named the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Week for Oct. 19-25.

Henderson, a freshman from Midlothian, recorded rounds of 74, 78 and 78 for a total of 230 to finish tied for 15th place with teammate Makenna Davidson at the Lady Cardinal Classic, hosted by University of the Incarnate Word at The Republic Golf Club in San Antonio. Henderson and Davidson led the Highlassies to a fourth-place finish and carded the lowest scores among junior college players in the field.
 
This is the fourth honor for McLennan golfers this fall.
