McLennan women’s golf tied for eighth at ORU Shootout

The McLennan Highlassies shot 308-306 – 614 to sit tied for eighth place after day one of the ORU Shootout presented by the Mark Allen Auto Group at the par-72, 6,085-yard Meadowbrook Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Host Oral Roberts sits in first place with 298-302 – 600, followed by Lamar in second with 309-294 – 603 and Texas-El Paso in third with 300-304 – 604.

Sophomores Makenna Davidson and Alejandra Rodriguez shot 76-77 – 153 and 78-75 – 153 to lead the Highlassies and are tied for 23rd place

Other McLennan scores: sophomore Joely Henderson, tied for 35th, 79-76 – 155; sophomore Tyler Morrison, tied for 35th, 77-78 – 155; and freshman Elin Eriksson, tied for 42nd, 77-79 – 156.
