McLennan women's golf finishes in 13th place at UTRGV Invitational

The McLennan Highlassies finished in 13th place with 334-323-343 – 1,000 at the UTRGV Women's Invitational at the par-72, 6,042-yard McAllen Country Club.
 
Sam Houston State finished in first place with 291-299-301 – 891 followed by Texas State in second with 289-307-303 – 899 and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in third with 306-302-301 – 909.
 
Freshman Ellie Darnell shot 83-79-84 – 246 to lead the Highlassies and finish tied for 51st.
