Highlassies finish Bearkat Invitational in 11th place

The McLennan Highlassies shot 325-327-330 – 992 to finish in 11th place at the Huntsville Toyota Bearkat Invitational hosted by Sam Houston State University at the High Meadow Ranch Golf Club in Magnolia.
 
Houston Baptist finished in first place with 297-294-293 – 884, followed by Sam Houston State in second with 308-301-305 – 918 and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in third with 308-301-309 – 918. Tyler, the only other two-year school in the field, finished in 12th place with 322-344-329 – 995.
 
Freshman Libby Singleton led the Highlassies, shooting 79-81-79 – 239 to finish in a tie for 45th.
 
Other McLennan scores: sophomore Ellie Darnell, tied for 47th, 79-81-81 – 240; sophomore Rylee Taylor-Perez, tied for 66th, 83-84-83 – 250; freshman Ava Bruner, 70th, 85-92-87 – 264; and sophomore Emily Isaacson, 75th, 86-91-91 – 268.
