Highlassie Golf among top-5 in final Golfstat rankings

The McLennan women's golf team is ranked fifth in the final Golfstat NJCAA rankings of the spring.

Seminole State (Florida) is in the top spot followed by Daytona State (Florida) in second. Eastern Florida State and Western Texas, a Region V opponent for McLennan, sit in third and fourth, respectively. Tyler (sixth) and Ranger (seventh) are the only other Texas teams in the rankings.

The Highlassies competed in two spring tournaments, finishing in ninth and 12th place, before the COVID-19 outbreak forced the cancellation of all NJCAA sports.
