Highlanders finish ninth in Corpus Christi

The McLennan Highlanders shot 324-318-344 – 986 to finish in ninth place at the Islanders Collegiate Invitational presented by Susser Bank at the Corpus Christi Country Club.
 
Houston Christian was first with 299-297-306 – 902, followed by UT Rio Grande Valley in second with 295-294-317 – 906 and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in third with 292-306-320 – 918.
 
Aaliyah Hryniewiecka-Irwin led the Highlanders with 73-70-85 – 228 to finish in 10th place.
