Bio

Blair Dodge was selected as the first assistant volleyball coach in McLennan history in June 2025.

Dodge was a four-year member of the volleyball team at Vanguard University in Costa, Mesa California, serving as team captain for two years. As a senior, she led the team in digs at 344 on the year and set a new personal best in dig per set at 3.82 solidifying her nickname of “Digging Dodge.” She competed in 109 matches for the Lions and finished her career with 1,185 digs. She was also a two-time Scholar Athlete in the Golden State Athletic Conference.

In addition to her playing experience, Dodge has served as a head coach for A4 Volley the last two years and was previously an assistant varsity soccer coach at her alma mater, Aliso Niguel High School in Aliso Viejo, California. She has also worked as a sports broadcaster for Vanguard Athletics, primarily calling live broadcasts for the men’s volleyball program, and was a sports media intern for the 2022-23 academic year.

A native of Laguna Niguel, California, Dodge earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with an emphasis in Technology and Emerging Media from Vanguard University in May 2025.
