The McLennan Highlanders fell to the Lee Navigators 3-0 this afternoon on the road in Baytown.
Lee had the momentum in the first two sets, taking the 2-0 lead with scores of 25-8 and 25-16.
McLennan found a rhythm in the third, taking the early 4-1 lead. The Highlanders pushed the lead to four at 12-8 before the Navigators began to rally and pulled within one at 12-11. McLennan held the advantage until late in the set. It would be tied at 20, again at 23 and 24 before Lee stole the set, 26-24.
McLennan hosts North Central for a non-conference match Wednesday at 6 p.m.
